Job summary

Saransh Inc. is seeking a Senior IT Asset Management (ITAM) & Data Platform Consultant to modernize and govern our enterprise asset ecosystem. The role spans FlexeraOne, ServiceNow, and Databricks/Data Lake, ensuring trusted asset data and cross‑platform integrations.

The ideal candidate will lead asset data governance, drive data flows, improve data quality, and deliver automation and dashboards that inform executives on asset health, compliance, and cost optimization.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in IT Asset Management including HAM and SAM.
• Hands-on with FlexeraOne.
• Experience with ServiceNow ITAM/CMDB or related modules.
• Understanding of data lakes, governance, and integration patterns.
• Proven stakeholder management and cross-platform oversight.

Responsibilities

• Act as ITAM SME for FlexeraOne, HAM and SAM processes.
• Oversee asset data management across FlexeraOne, ServiceNow, and Databricks.
• Design data flows, governance, and integration strategies for accurate asset data.
• Lead cross‑platform integrations between FlexeraOne, ServiceNow, and data lake environments.
• Ensure normalized, reconciled asset data to support reporting, compliance, and analytics.
• Improve asset lifecycle processes from procurement to retirement.
• Support software licensing management, compliance, and audit readiness.
• Collaborate with Data Engineering to ingest trusted asset data into the data lake.
• Establish monitoring and reporting for data quality and operational issues.
• Identify automation opportunities across ITAM, CMDB, and asset lifecycles.
• Develop dashboards and metrics on asset health, utilization, and cost optimization.
• Work with Procurement, Finance, Security, Infrastructure, EA, and Service Management teams.

Job Description/ Responsibilities

Position Summary

We are seeking a seasoned Senior IT Asset Management (ITAM) & Data Platform Consultant to lead the modernization and governance of our enterprise asset management ecosystem. This role will provide functional and technical leadership across FlexeraOne, ServiceNow, and Databricks/Data Lake platforms, ensuring accurate, trusted, and consumable asset data across the enterprise.

The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Hardware Asset Management (HAM), Software Asset Management (SAM), FlexeraOne, ServiceNow, CMDB, and data platform architecture, with the ability to oversee cross-platform implementations, drive integrations, improve data quality, and identify automation opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the ITAM subject matter expert for FlexeraOne, HAM, and SAM processes.
• Provide oversight and guidance for asset data management across FlexeraOne, ServiceNow, and Databricks/Data Lake platforms.
• Define and implement data flows, governance standards, and integration patterns to ensure accurate asset data synchronization across platforms.
• Partner with implementation teams to design and oversee integration between FlexeraOne, ServiceNow, and enterprise data lake environments.
• Ensure hardware and software asset data is normalized, reconciled, and governed to support operational reporting, compliance, and analytics.
• Evaluate and improve asset lifecycle processes, including procurement, deployment, discovery, inventory management, software optimization, refresh, and retirement.
• Support software license management, compliance monitoring, and audit readiness activities.
• Work with Data Engineering teams to ensure the data lake can efficiently ingest and consume trusted asset and CMDB data, including incremental data changes.
• Establish monitoring, controls, and reporting to identify data quality, integration, or operational issues.
• Identify automation opportunities across ITAM, CMDB, and asset lifecycle processes.
• Develop executive dashboards and operational metrics related to asset health, compliance, utilization, and cost optimization.
• Collaborate with Procurement, Finance, Security, Infrastructure, Enterprise Architecture, and Service Management teams to drive ITAM best practices.

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in IT Asset Management, including Hardware Asset Management (HAM) and Software Asset Management (SAM).
• Strong hands-on experience with FlexeraOne.
• Deep understanding of software licensing, entitlement management, compliance, and software optimization.
• Experience with ServiceNow ITAM, CMDB, or related asset management modules.
• Strong understanding of enterprise data lakes, data pipelines, data governance, and data integration concepts.
• Experience overseeing implementations spanning multiple platforms and stakeholder groups.
• Knowledge of data reconciliation, normalization, master data management, and asset data quality practices.
• Experience working with cloud-based analytics platforms such as Databricks.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, including engagement with business and technical leadership.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with ServiceNow HAM Pro and SAM Pro.
• Knowledge of CMDB architecture and Configuration Management processes.

Experience With Informatica Or Other ETL/data Integration Solutions.

• Familiarity with Azure Data Lake, Databricks, or enterprise data warehouse environments.
• Flexera, IAITAM, ServiceNow, or ITIL certifications.
