Job summary

US SENATE seeks a detail‑oriented inventory and IT support staff member to manage equipment and supplies. You will handle laptops, monitors, printers, and peripherals, coordinate with Senate offices and vendors, and support inventory counts during transitions.

Role requires practical knowledge of inventory databases and ticketing systems, strong written and in-person communication, and willingness to assist with movement of equipment within facilities.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining inventory management programs or equivalent databases.
• Ability to communicate effectively in person and in writing.
• Knowledge of ticketing software and procedures.
• Knowledge of office equipment, computers, and relevant software and web applications.

Responsibilities

• Maintain inventory of IT equipment (laptops, monitors, printers, peripherals) and related facilities.
• Interact regularly with Senate offices, committees, vendors and internal teams.
• Move, lift and transport IT equipment as part of inventories and transitions.
• Assist with inventories and office closures and transitions within Senate facilities.
• Stand/walk during equipment handling and inventory activities as needed.
