Job summary

ABN AMRO Clearing USA LLC in Chicago seeks an experienced IT Asset & Configuration Manager to join our Global IT Service Management team. You will help maintain CMDB and asset data while partnering with colleagues across NA, Europe, and Asia-Pacific.

This role supports regulatory compliance and service reliability, with backup Change Management duties. The position is based in the Chicago office with a minimum of three days on site weekly, within a collaborative, international environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of IT Asset & Configuration Management experience.
• Bachelor's degree in IT, CS, or related field or equivalent experience.
• Experience designing, implementing, and maintaining Asset Management processes and tooling.
• Hands-on ServiceNow experience including Asset Management and CMDB.
• Strong ITSM knowledge and excellent communication skills.
• ITIL certification or equivalent knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Asset & Configuration Management: Maintain and enhance the Asset and Configuration Management process and CMDB.
• Ensure configuration and asset data remains accurate, complete, and reliable.
• Support governance standards and continuous process improvement initiatives.
• Partner with technology teams to improve data quality and visibility.
• Contribute to ServiceNow Asset and Configuration Management capabilities.
• Major Incident & Problem Management: Coordinate restoration during major IT incidents.
• Act as primary on-call resource for major incidents 24x7.
• Lead post-incident reviews and follow-up actions.
• Change Management Support: Backup Change Manager when required.
• Provide SME guidance on change processes and support stakeholders.
• Monitor regulations and internal policies.
• Ensure processes operate in compliance with standards.
• Identify opportunities to strengthen governance.
• Reporting & Performance Management: Develop KPI dashboards and present findings.
