Cognizant is seeking a CMDB & IT Asset Management Administrator to manage CMDB in ServiceDesk Plus, track asset lifecycles, and support ITSM processes. You will map CI relationships and ensure data integrity across servers, devices, databases, and cloud resources.

The role requires CMDB experience, ITIL knowledge, and strong reporting skills to deliver governance reports and dashboards for stakeholders. Hybrid work model in Des Moines, IA with remote options is offered.

Qualifications

• Experience with CMDB administration and ServiceDesk Plus is required.
• Strong knowledge of ITIL processes and asset management.
• Proficiency in data governance, reporting, and dashboards.

Responsabilités

• CMDB Management: Administer and maintain the CMDB within ManageEngine ServiceDesk Plus.
• IT Asset Management: Manage lifecycle of IT assets from procurement to retirement.
• Discovery & Reconciliation: Validate discovered assets against CMDB records and reconcile discrepancies.
• ITSM Process Support: Support Incident, Problem, Change, Release, and Request Management teams.
• Governance & Compliance: Define CMDB policies and participate in audits.
• Reporting & Analytics: Develop dashboards and reports for asset inventory and CMDB accuracy.
