Job summary

Asure Software in Austin is seeking an experienced A/V Support Specialist to be the go-to for executive meetings and for any audiovisual needs. You will assist our IT Support team with internal tech issues, overseeing troubleshooting and device configuration.

Responsibilities include remote assistance, third-party liaison, and occasional after-hours support to ensure flawless executive events. Strong MS 365 experience and clear communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field and/or relevant professional experience.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship now or in the future.
• Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 including Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, Entra and Intune.
• Proficient knowledge of setting up A/V equipment.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Deliver top-tier technical support to the C-level team.
• Occasionally work outside of normal business hours to support executive meetings.

• Administer Microsoft 365 services across Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, and related tools.
• Manage user accounts, group permissions, and license assignments.
• Maintain and support network infrastructure including switches, firewalls, and wireless equipment.

How you will contribute

As the Austin Headquarters A/V Support Specialist, you will be our go-to for help during executive meetings and for any audiovisual needs.

When you aren't wrangling projectors and speakers into compliance, you will assist our IT Support team with internal tech support issues. Typical days involve staff seeking technical support, overseeing troubleshooting, maintenance, account creation, and the configuration of workstations, printers, and associated hardware and software. Responsibilities include providing remote assistance and liaising with third-party vendors as necessary. This role may require availability outside of standard business hours to ensure executive meeting support.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide rapid, hands-on support for IT, mobile devices, A/V systems, and software, particularly during meetings.

• Create and maintain technical documentation.

• Identify root causes of technical problems, including network, hardware, and cabling issues.
• Administer M365, ensuring reliable operations, security, and performance across Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, and related services.
• Manage user accounts, group permissions, and license assignments.
• Maintain and support network infrastructure including switching, firewalls, and wireless equipment.

Required Qualifications

Compensation

The starting salary for this position is $60,000-$70,000 based on relevant experience, skills, and industry knowledge.
