Job summary

The Bureau of Construction Codes in Lansing, Michigan is hiring a Departmental Analyst Trainee (9-P11) IT Analyst to provide IT support and analysis for bureau staff. The role troubleshoots hardware and software, manages databases and web support, processes data requests, and assists with imaging systems.

This permanent full-time position can be filled at different grade levels depending on qualifications and experience, with emphasis on IT analysis and enterprise support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 2+ years of E-6+ military service.
• Two years of professional experience, including one year at intermediate (10) level.
• Experience with computer hardware setup and software support.
• Ability to develop and maintain application and section databases.
• Professional research and analysis skills to support bureau functions.
