The City of Jurupa Valley seeks a resourceful Information Technology Analyst to bolster technology services and advance automation, cybersecurity, cloud services, and responsible AI use for staff and the community.

As an advanced professional, you will evaluate, implement, maintain, and improve information systems, delivering responsive technical assistance and contributing to projects from cloud administration to staff training.

Qualifications

• At least three years of professional experience providing analytical support to IT enterprise systems.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer information systems or related field.
• California driver’s license and proof of insurance required.
• Industry certifications in systems, networking, cybersecurity, cloud administration desirable.

Responsabilités

• Administer and support enterprise applications, servers, networks, and cloud platforms including Microsoft 365, Azure, and Tyler Enterprise system.
• Use scripting, programming, integrations, and automated workflows to improve efficiency and reporting.
• Support cybersecurity, identity and access management, system monitoring, and disaster recovery and business continuity.
• Evaluate AI tools for operational value with emphasis on privacy, security and responsible use.
• Coordinate technology projects, upgrades, migrations, vendor services, documentation, and staff training.
• Provide hands-on hardware, software, telecommunications, and audiovisual support including City Council meetings.
