Job summary

The City of Cedar Hill is seeking a dedicated Information Systems Analyst I to support the City’s technology systems, end users, and business applications. This role administers user access, helps with project implementations, and maintains documentation to ensure reliable IT services for all departments.

Responsibilities include on-premises and cloud services, Microsoft 365 and SharePoint administration, incident resolution, and assisting with workflow improvements to support efficient city

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, communications, or equivalent required.
• Two years of related experience. Local government experience preferred.
• Continuing education with CJIS clearance eligibility and related certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide premier customer support and technical assistance for City employees.
• Administer and maintain user access and security permissions across systems.
• Support on-premises and cloud-based services and troubleshoot issues.
• Assist with onboarding of new applications and service improvements.
• Maintain documentation, procedures, and knowledge base articles.
• Coordinate Microsoft 365 and SharePoint administration activities.
