Apex Technology, Inc. in Playa Vista, CA is seeking an Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) to ensure security of government-grade environments and prepare for customer reviews.

You will collaborate with the Cybersecurity Lead, system owners, IT, and engineering to implement NIST SP 800-171, CMMC Level 2, ATO activities, and ISO-aligned processes, maintaining SSPs and supporting evidence. Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance is required.
• US Citizenship is required.
• 3+ years of ISSO/security compliance experience.
• Strong knowledge of NIST SP 800-171 and CMMC Level 2.
• Experience maintaining security documentation and supporting security reviews.
• Ability to validate evidence from identity, cloud, endpoint, network, vulnerability, and logging platforms.

Responsibilities

• Serve as security point of contact for operations and inform teams on cyber posture.
• Assess requirements, risk findings, and contract timelines with Cybersecurity team.
• Maintain SSP, system inventory, policies, and evidence for CUI environment.
• Track NIST SP 800-171 and CMMC Level 2 implementation at artifact level.
• Support ATO and RMF activities including creating/updating security docs and POA&Ms.
• Validate evidence from cybersecurity suite (CrowdStrike, Palo Alto, Tenable, Jira).
• Lead remediation with system owners and ensure clear ownership and target dates.
• Lead security reviews on privileged accounts, terminated users, and other requests.
