Job summary

RTX Technology Research Center in East Hartford, CT is seeking an Information Systems Security Officer to support government security programs. You will report to the Facility Security Officer and work with the ISSM to ensure compliance with NIST SP, DAAG, and JSIG in a fast-paced, sensitive environment.

Role evolves from collateral classified support to a Special Access Program (SAP) ISSO with growth opportunities, requiring initiative, strong written and verbal skills, and meticulous attention

Qualifications

• University degree or 5+ years in relevant fields supporting classified programs.
• Current IAM Level I certification (Security+ or equivalent).
• Active US Government Security Clearance at SECRET level or higher.

Responsibilities

• Support ISSO in compliance with NIST SP, customer directives, and policy.
• Collaborate with FSO and ISSM; follow RMF, JSIG and related standards.
• Provide analytical and written communication; adapt to time-sensitive environments.
