Job summary

RTX BBN in Cambridge, MA is seeking an Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) to bridge high-level security policy with technical implementations for government information systems. You will work with the ISSM/ISSE and system admins to ensure lifecycle compliance and accreditation.

The role requires an active secret clearance (TS/SCI poly desired) and experience with RMF, JSIG, NISPOM, and related DoD cybersecurity guidelines.

Qualifications

University degree required with 5+ years experience or advanced degree with 3+ years
Experience in classified R&D security programs
Experience with RMF, JSIG, NISPOM, and DCSA processes
Security+ or equivalent certification recommended
Ability to obtain access to Special Access Programs
Active secret clearance required; TS/SCI poly desired

Responsibilities

Collaborate with ISSM/ISSE and admins through the system lifecycle
Provide oversight for security controls and accreditation
Develop security plans and deliver security education and awareness
Investigate security incidents and prepare corrective action reports
Coordinate with facility security, program personnel, and government representatives
Oversee patch management and system hardening across RTX BBN programs
