Job summary

TAC Integrated Solutions is seeking an Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) II to support Schriever AFB and Peterson AFB, CO. The role requires TS/SCI clearance and hands-on security operations across SAP/DoD programs, including authorization documentation and incident handling.

You will collaborate with ISSM and ISO, manage security controls, and ensure documentation and training are up to date. This is a demanding, mission-critical position for experienced security professionals.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years related experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (4 years).
• Must meet position and certification requirements outlined in DoD Directive 8570.01-M for Information Assurance Technician II or Information Assurance Manager II.
• Current TS/SCI clearance with ability to obtain CI poly.

Responsibilities

• Assist the ISSM in meeting its duties and responsibilities.
• Prepare, review, and update authorization packages.
• Ensure procedures for clearing, sanitizing, and destroying hardware and media are in place.
• Notify ISSM of changes affecting authorization.
• Conduct periodic reviews to ensure compliance with security authorization.
• Coordinate hardware/software/firmware changes with ISSM and AO/DAO prior to changes.
• Monitor recovery processes to ensure security features are restored.
• Maintain current IS security documentation for authorized personnel.
• Ensure audit records are collected, reviewed, and documented.
• Attend required technical and security training.
• Identify cybersecurity vulnerabilities and help implement countermeasures.
• Prepare status reports on security safeguards.
• Perform ISSO duties for in-house and external customers.
• Conduct security impact analyses and provide to ISSM on CM changes.
