Job summary

TAC Integrated Solutions seeks an Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) II to support Schriever AFB and Peterson AFB in CO. The role requires TS/SCI clearance and close collaboration with the ISSM and ISO to manage security for DoD systems.

The ISSO will prepare authorization packages, monitor security controls, and coordinate changes across hardware, software, and configuration boundaries, ensuring proper documentation and training for personnel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience (4 years).
• Experience with DoD security programs and SAP/SCI environments is preferred.
• Active TS/SCI with CI poly is required or eligible.

Responsibilities

• Assist the ISSM in meeting duties and responsibilities.
• Prepare, review, and update authorization packages.
• Ensure procedures for clearing, sanitizing, and destroying hardware and media.
• Notify ISSM of changes affecting authorization determinations.
• Conduct periodic information system reviews for security compliance.
• Coordinate hardware/software/firmware changes with ISSM and AO/DAO.
• Monitor recovery processes to ensure security features are restored properly.
• Maintain current IS security documentation accessible to authorized personnel.
• Ensure audit records are collected, reviewed, and documented.
• Attend security training and perform cybersecurity self-inspection tasks.
• Identify vulnerabilities and assist with countermeasures.
• Prepare reports on security safeguards status.
• Perform ISSO duties for in-house and external customers.
• Conduct security impact analysis and report to ISSM on CM changes.
