Job summary

P-11 Security, Inc. is seeking an Information System Security Officer (ISSO) to support DoD customers with a strong emphasis on security posture, authorization packages, and RMF methodologies.

The ISSO will work closely with the ISSM and ISO to ensure compliance across collateral and SAP environments. The ideal candidate will have 2–5 years related experience, TS clearance with SCI eligibility, and the ability to obtain DoD 8570.01-M certifications within 6 months.

Qualifications

• 3+ years preferred in information security roles
• Experience with security authorization packages and RMF/DIACAP processes
• Must meet DoD Directive 8570.01-M requirements or have clear plan to obtain within 6 months

Responsibilities

• Assist the ISSM in maintaining security posture for information systems
• Prepare, review, and update authorization packages
• Coordinate changes to hardware/software with ISSM/AO/DAO
• Monitor security controls and maintain documentation
• Conduct security training and awareness for staff
• Perform ISSO duties for DoD customers including SAP/SCI environments
• Ensure incident handling and audit records are properly maintained
• Assist with security impact analyses for authorization boundary changes
