Job summary

Kratos Defense and Security Solutions is seeking an ISSO to support IA development and compliance for DoD systems. You will prepare SSPs, RARs, POA&Ms and SCTMs while maintaining the security posture across the lifecycle. U.S. citizenship is required and DoD certifications and RMF experience are essential.

Travel to customer sites may be required; candidates with SAP experience are highly valued. Competitive salary with full benefits. Eligibility for SCI is requested as part of the role.

Qualifications

• Solid knowledge of the DISA/DoD RMF.
• CompTIA Security+ CE, CASP+, or equivalent cybersecurity certification.
• Experience with security controls, RMF, and STIGs.
• Familiarity with virtualization, cloud deployment, and containerization.
• Able to communicate technical concepts clearly to varied audiences.
• Capable of thriving in a fast paced team environment.
• Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility; SAP experience valued.

Responsibilities

• Perform security assessments such as vulnerability and compliance assessments, threat analysis, security code reviews, and risk assessments.
• Participate in regular security self-inspections and audits.
• Assist with the selection and implementation of security controls and features for systems and applications.
• Identify new security features and recommend updates to existing products for secure lifecycle support.
• Perform security assessments on new and proposed products to ensure secure integration.
• Provide product security engineering support and resolutions for integration/testing issues.
• Maintain standardized security product requirements and metrics reporting.
• Review security diagnostics and tools to analyze security events.
• Assist teams in mitigating risks and responding to security incidents.
• Participate in security architecture and design reviews.
