Kratos Defense & Security Solutions, Inc. in Crane, Indiana seeks an Information Systems Security Officer to manage day‑to‑day security of classified information systems and support unclassified networks.

The role reports to the Information Security Operations Manager/ISSM and requires active TOP SECRET clearance with SCI/SAP access eligibility. The position emphasizes RMF implementation, risk management, and continuous monitoring, including SSP/POA&Ms, audit log analysis, and security controls

Qualifications

• Must have active in-scope TOP SECRET clearance and be able to obtain SCI/SAP access.
• Associate degree (IT discipline preferred).
• 5+ years IT experience in a classified environment or 3+ years as ISSM/ISSO in government/industrial security.

Responsibilities

• Serve as ISSO for Kratos Inc Crane Indiana.
• Implement RMF for classified systems following DCSA/JSIG/NIST RMF.
• Support ATO process from categorization to authorization and continuous monitoring.
• Coordinate security awareness activities and ensure training completion.
• Produce and maintain BoE docs, SSPs, and POA&Ms.
