Job summary

Kratos Defense and Security Solutions is seeking an Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM) to lead system security, testing, and accreditation activities. The role focuses on developing RMF/ATO documentation, SSPs, and corrective action tracking using designated tools.

The candidate will operate within a DoD-focused environment, maintaining security posture, and ensuring regulatory compliance across classified systems. US citizenship and clearance eligibility required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in IT or related discipline required.
• 5+ years in IT in a classified environment or 3+ years as ISSM/ISSO in government/industrial security.
• Experience with RMF/DoD IT security programs and NISPOM requirements.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM).
• Implement RMF for classified systems per DoD guidance.
• Serve as primary service desk resource for classified systems.
• Produce and maintain evidence documentation including risk assessments, SSPs, and POA&Ms.
• Maintain day-to-day security posture and continuous monitoring, including patching.
• Review and implement DD254 requirements for all classified systems.
• Maintain eMASS accounts and provide system awareness for ATOs.
