Job summary

Kratos Defense & Security Solutions, Inc. is seeking an ISSO to support IA development and sustainment for DoD systems. The role involves RMF, SSPs, RARs, POAMs, SCTMs, and ensuring secure product lifecycles across software, hardware, and firmware.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of DISA/DoD RMF and security controls.
• DoD 8140 guidance and program security documentation experience.
• Ability to communicate complex security concepts to mixed audiences.
• U.S. citizenship and eligibility for access to classified information.

Responsibilities

• Perform security assessments (vulnerability, compliance, risk).
• Participate in security self-inspections and audits.
• Assist with security controls selection and implementation.
• Identify security features and update products to maintain secure baselines.
• Assess new products/tech for secure integration.
• Provide security engineering recommendations for issue resolution.
• Maintain security requirements and report performance metrics.
• Review security diagnostics/tools for event reporting.
• Support incident response and risk mitigation across teams.
• Participate in security architecture and design reviews.
• Manage system access and DoD certification tracking per DoD 8140.
