Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology, Inc. seeks an Information System Security Officer (ISSO) to maintain the security posture of DoD information systems.

The role requires close collaboration with the ISSM and ISO to manage RMF packages, assess security changes, and oversee day-to-day security operations, training, and incident handling. Required are 2+ years in cyber/IT risk management, US citizenship, and TOP SECRET/SCI clearance (or ability to obtain).

Qualifications

• 2+ years of related experience in cyber and IT risk management.
• US Citizenship required.
• Top Secret/SCI clearance currently possess or the ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the security posture of an information system and collaborate with ISSM and ISO.
• Develop, review, and update RMF packages; assess security impact of changes.
• Provide day-to-day security operations support, incident handling, and security training.
• Prepare authorization documentation and ensure procedures for clearing, sanitizing, and destroying hardware/media are in place.
• Support Special Access Programs (SAPs) and DoD agencies; execute ISSO duties for internal and external customers.
