Job summary

Darwin Recruitment is seeking an iSolved HCM Implementation Specialist to drive successful implementations of HCM and Payroll for our clients. You will configure the iSolved platform, gather requirements, and coordinate testing from discovery to go-live, while working closely with customers and internal teams.

The business supports small and mid-sized organisations with solutions spanning HR, payroll, benefits, time and attendance, and workforce management, using iSolved as its core HCM platform.

This role would suit someone who understands the practical challenges of implementing HCM and Payroll technology, enjoys working directly with customers and can confidently guide clients through the implementation journey, from initial requirements gathering through to go-live.

The opportunity

As an iSolved HCM Implementation Specialist, you’ll play a key role in delivering successful implementations for new customers, helping businesses configure and adopt their HCM and Payroll solutions effectively.

You’ll work closely with customers and internal sales and service teams to understand business requirements, coordinate implementation activities and ensure clients are set up for long-term success.

What you’ll be doing

• Lead client implementations: Manage the implementation process for new HCM and Payroll customers, from discovery and requirements gathering through configuration, testing and go-live.
• Understand customer requirements: Work with stakeholders to understand existing HR, payroll and workforce processes and translate these into appropriate system solutions.
• Configure iSolved: Support platform setup and configuration in line with customer requirements, ensuring the solution is implemented accurately and effectively.
• Support payroll and data migration: Coordinate relevant data gathering, validation, migration and testing activities to support accurate system setup.
• Manage testing and go-live: Coordinate system testing, identify issues and work with customers to resolve them ahead of implementation deadlines.
• Deliver customer training: Guide customers through the platform, helping them understand functionality and confidently use their new systems.
• Manage project delivery: Keep implementations on track, communicate progress, manage expectations and identify risks before they affect delivery.
• Collaborate across teams: Partner with sales and internal colleagues to ensure a smooth transition from the sales process into implementation and ongoing customer support.
• Drive continuous improvement: Identify opportunities to improve implementation processes, customer experience and delivery efficiency as the business grows.

What we’re looking for

We’re keen to speak with implementation professionals who understand HCM and Payroll systems and can confidently manage customers through technology change.

You’ll ideally bring:

• Experience implementing HCM, HRIS, Payroll or workforce management software.
• Hands-on iSolved implementation experience, or closely related experience with a comparable HCM and Payroll platform.
• A strong understanding of payroll processes, HR workflows and the practical requirements of system implementation.
• Experience gathering requirements, configuring systems, coordinating testing and supporting customers through go-live.
• The ability to manage multiple implementation activities, prioritise deadlines and resolve issues effectively.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to work directly with customers.
• A structured, detail-oriented approach to project delivery and data accuracy.
• The ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating effectively with a growing team.
