Job summary

Vancouver Public Schools seeks a Special Program Paraeducator 2 to support students in the Integrated Social Emotional Program (ISEP). Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist the teacher in implementing and evaluating goals and objectives on individual student IEPs.
• De-escalate students during emotional/behavioral crises and follow behavior plans.
• Prepare teaching materials and maintain data collection records.
• Observe students and report observations to appropriate staff; support with data entry.
• Support students with moderate to severe disabilities and work as part of a team.
