Job summary

Baptist Health Corbin is seeking an IS Support Services Specialist Intermediate to join our IT team. You will deliver frontline and second-line support to end users across the hospital, clinics, and related facilities, resolving hardware, software, and limited clinical application issues.

The role requires analyzing user needs, documenting solutions, and updating processes as needed, while coordinating with IT infrastructure and application teams to maintain system availability and support

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree two years job- related experience, or one-year direct experience in lieu of degree.
• Driver's license.

Job Description:

_ Baptist Health Corbin is looking for an IS Support Services Specialist Intermediate to join our team! _

Provides highly responsive first and second-tier IT support to end users within the hospital, physician practices, and other related healthcare facilities within the market. Support scope includes but is not limited to computer hardware and related equipment, general software and application installation and support, and some clinical application and hardware support. Analyzes user needs, documents solution requirements, and revises or develops processes or procedures as necessary. Coordinates with other Baptist Health IT infrastructure and application teams to deploy and support healthcare applications to ensure system availability, and ultimately support patient care.

Under general direction, may formulate/define project scope and objectives based on application specifications and user defined needs. May assist in the implementation of both local and systemwide IT project initiatives with hospital implications.

Support oversight includes users and equipment in the following locations:

• Main hospital campus
• Associated clinical and support facilities in the surrounding market, often off of the main hospital campus, such as diagnostic centers, surgery centers, labs, etc.
• Baptist Health Medical Group physician practices and remote clinic locations
• Remote support for work-from-home Baptist employees within the market
• Collectively, this often includes a large geographical area within the counties surrounding the main hospital. Both remote and on-premise support may be in scope
