Job summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform screening and diagnostic mammography procedures at 399 Revolution Drive, Somerville, MA. This role focuses on patient positioning, image quality, and equipment operation.

The ideal candidate has 2–3 years of experience, holds or pursues ARRT certification, and can communicate effectively in a fast-paced clinical setting. Onsite work and adherence to safety protocols are essential.

Qualifications

  • Radiologic Technologist license/State license, ARRT registration preferred.
  • 2–3 years of experience in mammography or diagnostic imaging.

Essential Functions
-Performs a variety of tasks involving the operation of mammographic equipment and other equipment/devices as appropriate.
-Positions patients and uses immobilization if necessary.
-Selects proper mode to produce correct exposure factors.
-Evaluates images for diagnostic quality, obtaining additional images as needed.
-Prepares and sets up medical supplies using aseptic techniques if appropriate.
-Explains procedures to patients.

High School Diploma or Equivalent required and Associate’s Degree Related Field of Study preferred
