Mortenson is seeking an Ironworker Journeyman to mark, position, and secure structural steel members for reinforced concrete and building projects. The role involves crane operation, rigging inspection, rebar tying, and working at heights on busy construction sites.

You will read blueprints, coordinate with teams, and uphold safety standards while installing components for nacelles, hubs, and towers as required by project plans.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum three years related experience.
• Ability to read safety regs and manuals; understand basic math.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics; basic math skills.

Responsibilities

• Set up crane and inspect rigging.
• Mark, position, and secure structural steel per plan.
• Handle rebar, welding, and tying tasks as directed.
• Receive and offload materials; maintain safety standards.
