Role Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Ironworker Foreman to spearhead our industrial construction initiatives. In this capacity, you will direct the repair, maintenance, and assembly of iron and structural steel components within large-scale industrial environments. Your leadership is essential for maintaining high-quality output, operational efficiency, and rigorous safety standards throughout the project lifecycle. By managing site schedules and coordinating personnel, you will play a pivotal role in achieving project objectives.

Core Duties

• Direct and monitor ironworking teams on industrial sites to guarantee that tasks are executed with maximum efficiency and safety.
• Analyze technical blueprints and structural plans to determine project needs and organize installation workflows.
• Organize daily site activities by creating work schedules, delegating responsibilities, and tracking progress to ensure deadlines are met.
• Foster a culture of safety by enforcing OSHA guidelines and industry regulations to help maintain a secure environment for the entire team.
• Conduct quality inspections to verify that all installations align with technical specifications and safety requirements.
• Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and subcontractors by utilizing platforms like ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, or Prolog to manage documentation and timelines.
• Support team development and performance by providing clear communication, training, and effective supervision.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated history of leading steel erection or ironworker teams in commercial or industrial construction settings.
• Proficiency in utilizing construction management and estimating software, such as ProCore, Bluebeam, HeavyBid, or Primavera P6/EPPM.
• Proven capability to accurately interpret and apply complex technical drawings and blueprints.
• Deep understanding of project scheduling methodologies to help coordinate site activities and improve overall project flow.
• Comprehensive knowledge of construction safety management and federal OSHA compliance standards.
• Experience overseeing project documentation, contracts, and budgets using systems like Prolog or other contract management tools.
• Strong leadership abilities to help motivate crews while ensuring strict adherence to safety protocols.
• Familiarity with pipeline installation and the use of electrical testing equipment like ohmmeters is considered an asset.
• Must hold a valid OSHA certification; additional credentials in heavy rigging or specialized steel erection are highly desirable.
