Job summary

Iron Fabrication Services Inc. is seeking a Construction Iron/Steel Foreman to manage the jobsite and lead crews assembling structural steel girders, columns and other metalwork to form completed structures.

You will coordinate with the general contractor, read blueprints, supervise welders and erectors, enforce OSHA safety rules, and ensure work is performed to project specifications and schedule. Strong leadership and adherence to ASTM standards are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience reading blueprints and coordinating with GC.
• Supervising welders and erectors to meet schedule.
• Enforcing OSHA safety regulations on site and ensuring compliance.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with G.C. to resolve discrepancies between blueprints and field conditions.
• Attend foreman meetings with G.C. and prep work before crews arrive on site.
• Lead welders and erectors to finish jobs per schedule.
• Enforce safety regulations on site and ensure OSHA standards are followed.
• Read specifications and blueprints to determine locations, quantities and material sizes.
• Weld according to ASTM standards.
