Job summary

Kiewit in Mobile, AL is seeking a Lead Construction Supervisor to effectively lead and manage crew members' daily activities and production according to project timeline, plans, specifications, codes and safety standards.

You will train crews on safety and procedures, coordinate resources, monitor costs and reporting, and ensure timely, quality completion while upholding company safety rules. This onsite role requires strong communication, planning and teamwork; willing to work irregular hours.

Qualifications

Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to plan and supervise all aspects of work.
Knowledge of scheduling, material control and cost management fundamentals.

Responsibilities

Plan, coordinate and organize people, equipment, tools and materials for safe, efficient construction.
Ensure equipment is operated and maintained correctly.
Maintain accurate reporting records (quantities, productivity, time sheets).
Assist in developing weekly schedules and sequencing of activities.
Complete work within estimated costs while upholding quality workmanship.
Ensure crew safety and compliance with safety rules.
Lead toolbox talks and communicate plans and safety concerns to crews.
Monitor adherence to company policies by all crew members.
