Job summary

Sunset Marquis in West Hollywood seeks an IRD Server to greet guests, input and deliver orders, and ensure accurate cash handling while delivering a memorable service experience.

duties include setting up IRD areas, processing payments, restocking, and coordinating with kitchen staff, with cross-training in other F&B areas. Proficiency in English; Spanish is preferred; flexible shifts across weekdays, weekends, holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or 2-3 years related experience
• Luxury hotel experience required
• Experience in high-volume, fast-paced environment
• Aloha POS experience is a plus
• Food Handlers card required
• TIPS Certification a plus
• RBS certification a plus
• Proficient in English (written and spoken)
• Spanish proficiency preferred (spoken)

Responsibilities

• Set up IRD areas and complete opening/closing tasks and side work
• Present and collect checks, handle billing/credit procedures and collect guest feedback
• Restock and maintain par levels (napkins, ice, ingredients) during shift
• Receive information from previous shift and communicate to following shift
• Prepare, deliver, and remove IRD trays and amenities promptly
• Follow all safety, sanitation, and beverage service regulations
• Cross-train in other F&B areas

Job Summary

The IRD Server is responsible for greeting guests, inputting and delivering orders, communicating with kitchen staff, and adhering to proper cash handling and credit procedures, while creating a memorable IRD experience through friendly, prompt, and attentive service.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include:

• Properly and thoroughly set-up designated IRD areas and complete all opening, closing, and side work duties during shift.
• Responsible for timely check presentation and retrieval, billing/credit card/payment and collecting feedback from the guest.
• Consistently check, restock, and maintain par levels during shift (i.e. napkins, ice, ingredients, etc.
• Receives information from the previous shift and passes on pertinent details to the following shift.
• Responsible for prompt and thorough preparation, delivery, and removal of IRD trays and amenities.
• Abide by all control, regulations, laws, and procedures related to food/alcohol service, safety, and sanitation.
• Must be able to cross-train in other F&B related areas.

Requirements

Essential Skills, Experience, and Education include:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or 2-3 year's related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Luxury hotel experience required.

High volume, fast-paced work environment experience required.

Aloha experience is a plus.

Food Handlers card is required.

Training for Intervention Procedures (TIPS) Certification is a plus.

Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) certification is a plus.

Proficient in English- verbal and written.

Proficient in Spanish- verbal (preferred).

Must have flexible work availability- all shifts, weekdays, weekends, and holidays.

Physical Requirements include:

• Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
