Job summary

The Sunset Marquis in West Hollywood is seeking a courteous Host/Greeter to welcome restaurant guests and guide them to seating, ensuring a memorable dining experience. You will present menus, relay server details, and respond to inquiries while maintaining a high level of service.

Prior luxury hotel or fine dining experience is preferred; OpenTable and POS familiarity are a plus. Must hold a Food Handlers card and be flexible for all shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or 1 year related experience.
• Luxury hotel/fine dining experience preferred.
• OpenTable experience is a plus.
• Food Handlers card is required.
• Must be proficient in English, verbal and written.
• Flexible availability for all shifts, weekdays, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet arriving guests and determine reservations or waiting list.
• Escort guests to tables or waiting areas and present menus.
• Answer phone, take reservations, and handle inquiries.
• Engage with guests to ensure satisfaction with the experience.
• Cross-train in other F&B areas as needed.
