Job summary

SEAKR Engineering is seeking an experienced IRAD Manager to turn roadmaps into actionable development and funding plans for space electronics systems.

You will lead cross-functional teams, collaborate with the Technical Director and senior engineers, and ensure IRAD programs meet cost, schedule, and compliance requirements.

This role requires a strong program management background, 10+ years in aerospace, and a passion for delivering next-generation technologies from SEAKR to the market.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline or equivalent experience.
• Preferred PMP certification or equivalent project management credential.
• Proven leadership of complex technical programs from concept to delivery.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee IRAD execution to align with roadmaps and budgets.
• Collaborate with Technical Director, Portfolio Chief Engineer, and Fellows.
• Ensure compliance with federal funding rules and statements of work.
• Support capital investments aligned with IRAD plans and strategy.
• Standardize processes across IRAD initiatives and reporting.
• Drive market-aligned IRAD programs and timely issue escalation.
