Iris Technology Corporation is seeking a Technical Program Manager in Irvine, CA to lead Product Development and IRAD programs from concept through prototype and transition to mature products. You will coordinate across Systems, Mechanical, FPGA/Firmware, Software, and Business teams to meet scope, cost, and schedule objectives.

The role requires deep program-management expertise, strong communication, and the ability to drive decisions in a complex, evolving environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Systems, Mechanical, or Computer Engineering; Computer Science; Physics; or related field.
• 7–12 years in engineering or program management within aerospace/defense or complex tech environments.
• Strong ability to manage integrated schedules, budgets, dependencies, and resources.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to navigate evolving requirements and ambiguous situations.

Responsibilities

• Own execution of Product Development and IRAD programs including scope, schedule, budget, milestones.
• Develop and maintain integrated program plans across design, prototype, test, and launch.
• Manage financial performance and provide leadership reporting.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams across engineering and business functions.
• Lead risk management and mitigation plans to prevent delays.
• Drive iterative build-test-learn development with clear objectives and criteria.
• Capture lessons learned and improve program-management tools.
