Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton seeks a Deputy Program Manager to guide Space hardware and software development programs and IRAD efforts. You will oversee scope, cost, schedule, risks, and staffing, coordinating multiple teams and subcontractors to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

You will prepare executive and technical briefings, support customer engagements, and drive continuous improvement across the program lifecycle while maintaining compliance with contract requirements and security standards.

Qualifications

• Experience with Space hardware and software programs
• Experience supporting U.S. Government customers
• Experience with Capture, Proposal and Business Development processes
• Experience with Agile frameworks and lifecycle tools (Jira/Confluence)
• Knowledge of R&D project lifecycle and technology maturation
• Top Secret clearance
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or CS

Responsibilities

• Support the Technical Program Manager with planning, execution, and monitoring of Space RF system R&D programs.
• Assist in managing scope, cost, schedule, risks, staffing, and deliverables.
• Develop, update, and maintain program documentation and reporting artifacts.
• Coordinate with engineering leads, subcontractors, and vendors for integrated execution.
• Prepare for and support customer engagements, design reviews, and PMRs.
• Ensure compliance with internal program management processes and contract requirements.
• Create executive and working level briefings to align workstreams and meet deadlines.
• Lead Capture and Proposal milestones (kickoffs, gate reviews, color team reviews, retrospectives).
• Remove impediments, drive continuous improvement, and maintain velocity.
• Coach crossfunctional teams through the BD lifecycle (RF hardware, FPGA, embedded software, etc).
• Coordinate technical dependencies across workstreams and partner teams.
• Track multiple workstreams, papers, proposals, and internal investment activities.
