Northrop Grumman Space Systems, Multi-Domain Operations, and Missile Defense Integration is seeking a Modeling & Simulation Systems Engineer – Level 2 (IR Plume Mod/Sim Systems Engineer) to join the team on-site at Schriever Space Force Base, Colorado Springs, CO. The role focuses on high-fidelity threat modeling, data engineering, and simulation development.

Essential functions include data validation, analytical rigor, and robust debugging across Python/MATLAB environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in a STEM field with 2+ years of technical experience or 0-2 years with a Masters.
• Current active in-scope U.S. Government Secret clearance at time of application.
• Proficiency in Python, MATLAB or other scripting languages.

Responsibilities

• Data engineering and validation of large-scale datasets.
• Maintain rigorous verification and validation of technical data.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose simulation failures and data issues.
