Job summary

Spirit AeroSystems, Inc. in Kansas (Spirit Defense) seeks a senior IPT program manager to organize and lead integrated product teams, drive program schedules, and manage changes and budgets. The role requires ensuring technical, cost, and quality performance across end items with strong cross-functional collaboration.

The position requires 5+ years of related experience or more, a U.S. SECRET clearance, and U.S. citizenship.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of related experience or more than 10 years of experience.
• Ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance and Special Program Access (for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship)

Responsibilities

• Organize and lead the IPT, planning and integration with program execution.
• Plan elements for the program's integrated master schedule.
• Conduct IPT-level change control and RIO boards; support the Program Change Control Board.
• Ensure technical, cost, schedule, and quality performance of the IPT end items.
• Coordinate lifecycle requirements (requirements, configuration, data, contract).
• Define build-to/buy-to-packages to meet targets.
• Maintain EVM status, budgets and schedules.
• Oversee product configuration and certification oversight for end items.
• Coordinate with SCM on supplier selection and SOW.
• Oversee qualification of materials and suppliers.
• Lead development and delivery of end items/products.
• Apply standards and best practices within IPT and cross-IPT integration.
• Manage IPT plans and processes with discipline.
• Manage change control for major/minor changes and customer requests.
• Collaborate with Customer Interface, Change Management, Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Risk, Affordability, Product Configuration.
• Support Earned Value Management, proposals and integrated program planning.
• Engage in cross-functional change management.
