Job summary

Moog Inc. in Buffalo, NY is seeking an IPT Lead Engineer - Development to drive integration and testing of TVC actuation systems.

You will lead cross‑functional teams, coordinate with customers and suppliers, and shape multi‑year plans for compliant, well‑documented solutions. The role requires advanced engineering degrees and substantial experience in space system design, with a focus on leadership, risk management and schedule development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or related technical discipline with progressive engineering experience.
• Strong ability to understand new concepts quickly in an evolving environment and organize work to meet timetables.
• Excellent communication, documentation, presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to work extended hours and adapt to priorities and workloads.
• Experience in space system design and leading technical teams is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead IPT technical oversight, direction, and hands-on design for TVC actuation systems.
• Ensure end-to-end design, integration, and testing to meet program requirements.
• Develop production-ready designs and maintain development plans and schedules.
• Collaborate with customers, suppliers, and vendors across projects and reviews.
• Provide status metrics, ETC and variance inputs to cost accounts and planning tools.
• Represent the organization as prime technical contact and guide less experienced staff.
