Neighborhood House Association (NHA) seeks an IPS Peer Support Specialist to provide peer-based case management and transition support within the Career Core Supported Employment Program (CCSEP). You will collaborate with Employment Specialists, clinical staff, and partners to advance IPS principles and recovery goals.

Responsibilities include aiding vocational choices, reducing barriers to employment, and maintaining connections with employers.

Qualifikationen

• Diploma or GED with two years as a peer specialist or two years post-high school and at least one year IPS experience.
• Lived recovery experience preferred.
• IPS Peer Specialist certification preferred.
• Bilingual abilities preferred.

Aufgaben

• Assist individuals in vocational choices and help clients find and hold a job.
• Assist clients to build social skills for reintegration into communities.
• Identify problems hindering goals and apply interventions.
• Establish employer linkages and maintain a relevant employers directory; attend meetings.
• Participate in vocational unit meetings and multidisciplinary teams to discuss client challenges.
• Apply IPS, PSR, and WRAP practices.
