AltaPointe Health is seeking an IPS Supported Employment Certified Peer Specialist to support adults in achieving employment goals within outpatient services. You will attend meetings with consumers, promote self-determination and recovery, and model self-advocacy in daily work.

Key duties include engaging with treatment teams, assisting with job development and coaching, navigating benefits, and connecting participants to community resources to secure and sustain employment.

Qualifications

• Must be in recovery from a mental illness and willing to share recovery story.
• Must have a valid Alabama driver license, vehicle insurance, and driving record.
• Must be at least 23 years old.

Responsabilités

• Support consumers in obtaining employment by attending meetings with them and promoting self-determination.
• Promote recovery and self-advocacy within the Employment team and with consumers.
• Provide job development and job coaching to assist Employment Specialists.
