Aufgaben

• Engages clients and builds trusting relationships aimed at competitive employment in community settings.
• Assists clients in understanding how employment affects entitlements and benefits; refers to benefits counseling as needed.
• Assesses vocational skills and preferences; discusses disclosure of mental health status with employers.
• Facilitates meetings with workers, advisors, and job fairs to explore opportunities.
• Drives job development and job search activities tailored to each client's interests and abilities.
• Conducts employer contacts to explain supports offered by the program and client strengths.
• Provides follow-along supports and writes individualized employment plans with input from family and mental health team.
• Coordinates with employers for accommodations and follow-along support as needed.
• Maintains outreach to re-engage clients; responds to inquiries and follows up on job leads.
• Participates in treatment team meetings to coordinate vocational services with mental health treatment.
• Coordinates with VR counselors to align services and supports for clients.
• Develops employment or education plans with client input and family involvement.
• Spends majority of time in the community meeting clients at various locations.
