Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Must be in recovery from a mental illness.
• Must be at least 23 years old.
• Must have and maintain a valid Alabama driver license, vehicle insurance, and driving record.

Responsibilities

• Assist - navigating mental health system with consumers.
• Recruit - referrals from clinicians, families, consumers.
• Reduce - barriers to services and fear.
• Retain - support and coach participants in employment settings.
• Provide - job development and coaching to support Employment Specialists.
• Promote self-determination, recovery, self-advocacy, and self-direction in clients.
