Job summary

Neighborhood House Association’s Career Core program helps adults and youth with behavioral health needs find competitive employment using IPS methods. The Employment Specialist collaborates with clients and staff, maintains a caseload, and supports job search, interviews, and placement.

Qualifications

• Two years post high school education with related experience.
• Experience as IPS Specialist or employment specialist preferred.
• Knowledge of IPS, PSR, and WRAP practices is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a minimum caseload of 20 active job seekers with group sessions and data entry.
• Establish employer linkages and conduct face-to-face contacts weekly.
• Develop person-specific plans aligned with each client’s goals.
• Provide timely face-to-face follow-along supports and supervision participation.
