NARA Northwest seeks a Supported Employment Specialist to help clients achieve competitive employment using the IPS fidelity model. The role involves substantial community work at client residences and local businesses, building trust and guiding career plans.

The position requires IPS training (or willingness to train), a high school diploma or GED, and at least two years of direct mental health services. A valid driver’s license and transportation are needed; apply online today.

Formación

• Requires a high school diploma or GED.
• QMHA certification required or eligible to obtain before hire.
• Minimum two years of direct services to individuals with mental health concerns.
• Training in IPS or willingness to be trained in IPS.
• Driver's license and access to reliable transportation; clean driving record and proof of auto insurance.

Responsabilidades

• Engage clients to establish trusting relationships aimed at competitive employment.
• Adhere to IPS fidelity model in all activities.
• Explain how earnings affect benefits and entitlements.
• Help clients plan long-term employment goals and update career profiles.
• Develop individual employment plans and coordinate with clinicians.
