Job summary

Niwota Solutions is seeking a hands-on Senior Accountant to support financial reporting, accounting operations, and pre-IPO activities. The role collaborates with the Accounting Manager, senior leadership, and external auditors to strengthen controls and prepare for IPO readiness.

The ideal candidate will have a solid U.S. GAAP foundation and prior experience with IPO or pre-IPO environments, with a track record in publicly traded settings. This hybrid role reports to the Accounting Manager.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting.
• Experience supporting IPO/pre-IPO processes.
• Experience working for publicly traded companies or IPO readiness.

Responsibilities

• Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, reconciliations, and management reports.
• Assist with consolidated financial reporting under U.S. GAAP and corporate reporting.
• Support IPO readiness initiatives and audit preparation.
• Develop, implement, and test SOX-compliant internal controls.
• Coordinate with external auditors and prepare schedules.
• Assist with intercompany transactions and international subsidiaries.
• Support cost accounting and inventory analysis.
• Maintain accounting policies and internal control documentation.
• Contribute to SAP ERP process improvements and data integrity.
