Qualifications

• 10–15 years of progressive accounting and finance experience.
• Strong technical accounting expertise including US GAAP, SEC reporting and financial statement prep.
• Experience with mining or mineral interests accounting including capitalized development and asset retirement obligations.
• IPO or public company transition experience is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead the full accounting cycle: close, reporting, treasury, payroll and cash management.
• Prepare and review US GAAP financial statements and SEC filings.
• Oversee mining-specific accounting and inventory valuation.
• Drive IPO readiness: audited statements and regulatory compliance.
• Develop internal controls and reporting processes for transition to a public company.
• Coordinate external audits and legal counsel.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and cost management.
• Partner with leadership on financial analysis and strategic initiatives.
• Mentor and scale the accounting team as the company grows.
• Enhance financial systems and efficiencies to support growth.
