Job summary

Avnet is seeking a technically savvy professional to identify and develop opportunities in IP&E power solutions across the West Coast. The role focuses on engaging customer engineering and procurement teams to influence specifications and drive product adoption.

The position requires 5+ years in power supply/power management and a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering. You will collaborate with account managers and suppliers to deliver cost-effective, reliable solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience in power supply/power management domains.
• Experience engaging with customer engineering and procurement teams to influence specs and adoption.

Responsibilities

• Supports execution of IP&E growth plans by engaging customer engineering and procurement teams.
• Identifies opportunities through technical discovery and solution alignment.
• Acts as a technical resource for IP&E products including AC/DC and DC/DC power supplies, power conversion, and distribution.
• Works with account managers, field applications engineers, and suppliers to meet performance, reliability, and cost requirements.
• Maintains knowledge of power technologies, competitors, and market trends.
