Job summary

Industrial Electric Manufacturing (IEM) invites applications for a Power Solution Architect – West Region USA. This remote US position focuses on designing scalable power delivery systems for industrial, data center, and enterprise applications, bridging engineering and commercial teams.

The role leads cross-functional collaboration, mentors teams, and helps drive digital transformation while ensuring reliability and performance across projects in the US West region; travel is required.

Qualifications

BS in Electrical Engineering is required; MS or PE license preferred.
5+ years in power system architecture.
Experience with UL, IEEE standards and industry practices.
Strong analytical and communication skills.
Microgrid applications experience.
Power equipment sales or commercial collaboration experience.

Responsibilities

Partner with Sales across the assigned region to provide technical expertise during business development and proposal efforts.
Interpret project specifications and guide estimation and design teams.
Contribute to RFI/RFP responses and technical documentation.
Develop scalable, standards-compliant power system architectures.
Ensure designs meet performance, reliability, and operational goals.
Evaluate and select components based on technical and commercial criteria.
Recommend design optimizations and alternative solutions.
Cross-Functional Engagement with electrical, mechanical, and thermal teams; refine solutions based on feedback.
Thought Leadership: represent IEM at industry events and mentor teams.
Strategic Impact: influence technical and commercial strategies to differentiate IEM solutions.
