Qualifications

• Fluency in English is required.
• BS/BA is required.
• 2-5 years of legal experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist attorneys with various aspects of their docket.
• Organize and maintain electronic mail, facsimiles, docketing information and instructions and take necessary action.
• Prepare and file documents with the USPTO.
• Review incoming correspondence and take necessary action.
• Interact with clients via telephone, email, and facsimile as necessary.
• Coordinate with colleagues to ensure completion of tasks.
• Prepare Information Disclosure Statements for filing with the USPTO.
• Prepare search results and prior art lists for citation.
• Manage prior art and duty of disclosure for domestic and foreign matters.
• Maintain accurate client contact information and reporting instructions.
• Research and retrieve information using legal references (MPEP, TMEP, USPTO).
• Utilize Outlook, Word, Excel, CPi, JURIS, DeskSite, IPDAS, and other firm tools.
• Guide or mentor teammates and take on additional responsibilities as needed.
