AgileEngine, LLC is seeking a Test Engineering Manager in the Chicago area to lead validation of IoT and computer vision products. You will oversee a cross-functional team responsible for end-to-end validation across hardware, firmware, software, cloud, and customer workflows, developing strategies, and ensuring readiness for pilots and scale deployments.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in product validation, systems engineering, or related fields.
• Experience leading technical teams and cross-functional validation programs.
• Embedded systems testing including hardware–firmware interfaces.
• Experience validating IoT, edge devices, or large-scale deployments.
• Strong collaboration and problem-solving in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop Test & Validation team.
• Own product validation across hardware, firmware, software, cloud, and customer workflows.
• Define validation plans with global R&D teams and set acceptance criteria.
• Ensure system integration testing across onboarding, telemetry, connectivity, data flow, and customer workflows.
• Monitor performance against quality and reliability metrics and identify improvement areas.
• Drive root-cause analysis across R&D, Product, Manufacturing, and field teams.
• Maintain validation dashboards and executive launch-readiness reports.
• Provide final Go/No-Go decisions for pilots and deployments.
