Job summary

Intuit, Inc. is hiring for a Mobile Software Engineer Intern - iOS in a 12-week summer program. You will write production Swift code and apply AI tools while building mobile experiences across TurboTax, QuickBooks, Credit Karma, and Mailchimp.

You will collaborate with engineers, designers, and product managers to turn requirements into working software, and you’ll gain hands-on experience applying best practices in software development with mentorship and cross‑functional exposure.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a degree-seeking program with an expected graduation date after internship ends
• Familiarity with AI tools and a curiosity about applying AI to real-world problems
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for the duration of the internship
• Ability to work in a hybrid environment at an Intuit office location determined by team/role
• Experience building iOS applications, ideally with Swift or Objective-C
• Familiarity with iOS architectures and development frameworks (SwiftUI, UIKit, Combine, MVVM)
• Working knowledge of Swift, Objective-C, Python, and Java
• Comfort partnering with designers and backend engineers to connect mobile apps to cloud-based APIs
• Knowledge of Agile development and software development lifecycle
• Self-starter attitude with initiative and independent decision-making
• Strong problem-solving skills and a history of delivering tasks
• Desire to learn and grow within a technical environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and test features for Intuit's iOS applications from UI to services
• Write clean, well-tested Swift code and participate in code reviews
• Debug and resolve defects across the app and trace issues through the stack
• Partner with engineers, designers, and PMs to convert requirements into working software
• Use AI-assisted tools to accelerate development and share learnings with the team
• Support deployment and ongoing maintenance of features you ship
