Intuit, Inc. invites candidates to join a Mobile Software Engineer Intern - iOS role for a 12-week summer internship.

You will write production Swift code, explore AI tools, and contribute to apps across TurboTax, QuickBooks, Credit Karma, and Mailchimp while working with mentors and cross-functional teams. You will design features, review code, and debug across the stack, gaining hands-on experience in modern iOS practices and scalable mobile architectures.

Qualifications

• Current enrollment in a degree-seeking program with an expected graduation date after the internship ends.
• Familiarity with AI tools and curiosity about applying AI to real-world problems.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for the duration of the internship.
• Ability to work in a hybrid environment at an Intuit office location as assigned.
• Experience building iOS applications, ideally with Swift or Objective-C.
• Familiarity with iOS architecture and development frameworks (SwiftUI, UIKit, Combine, MVVM).
• Working knowledge of Swift, Objective-C, Python, and Java.
• Comfort partnering with designers and backend engineers to connect mobile apps to cloud APIs.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and the software lifecycle.
• Self-starter attitude and initiative taking.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and test features for Intuit's iOS applications, from UI to services.
• Write clean, well-tested Swift code and participate in code reviews.
• Debug and resolve defects across the app and trace issues end-to-end.
• Collaborate with engineers, designers, and product managers to turn requirements into working software.
• Use AI-assisted development tools to accelerate workflow and share learnings with the team.
• Support deployment and ongoing maintenance of features shipped this summer.
