Job summary

Valley Bank is seeking an Assistant Manager, Investor Reporting to oversee the accurate reporting, reconciliation, and remittance of loan servicing activity to investors and agencies, including Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. This role leads Investor Reporting staff and collaborates with Accounting, Servicing, Audit, Technology, and investors.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in investor reporting or mortgage servicing, strong Excel skills, and proven leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Finance, Accounting, Business or related field.
• Five+ years experience in investor reporting or mortgage servicing.
• Experience applying agency guidelines and private investor requirements.

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely and accurate reporting, reconciliation, and remittance of loan servicing activity to investors and agencies.
• Monitor and reconcile custodial accounts, resolve variances and data discrepancies.
• Ensure compliance with investor requirements, agency guidelines and regulatory standards.
• Review, analyze, and validate investor reporting data and propose improvements.
• Lead, train, and mentor Investor Reporting staff.
• Track KPIs and ensure reporting deadlines and service levels are met.
• Present investor reporting metrics and updates to management and investors.
• Identify process improvements and automation opportunities.
• Maintain and update investor reporting procedures with regulatory changes.
